We're building a local community of watch collectors in and around Indianapolis — people who'd rather talk about what they're wearing over coffee than argue about it on a forum. Your Casio is as welcome as your Cartier.

There's no shortage of places to discuss watches online. What Central Indiana doesn't have enough of is collectors who know each other by name — who can meet on a Saturday morning, pass something across a table, and get the real answer about a watch instead of a forum consensus.

That's the whole point of this. The group chat keeps us connected during the week. The meetups are what make it a community. Over time we'd like to build enough of a local presence that shops around town want to open their doors to us on a slow afternoon — not to sell to us, just because a room full of enthusiastic collectors is good company.

What we're about

What you'll find here

  • Collectors from across Central Indiana, close enough that meeting up is realistic.
  • Daily wrist shots, honest opinions, and questions nobody makes you feel dumb for asking.
  • Swiss, Japanese, German, Chinese, microbrand, vintage, quartz, smart. All of it counts.
  • Encouragement when someone lands the watch they've been saving for, whatever it cost.

What you won't

  • Snobbery about price. A $60 Seiko gets the same enthusiasm as a $6,000 anything.
  • A dealer sales channel. Local retailers are welcome as members, not as advertisers.
  • Brand wars, gatekeeping, or the word "homage" used as an insult.
  • Endless notifications. The chat is active but civil, and the email is once a week.

How it works

The WhatsApp group
Where most of it happens. Wrist shots, new arrivals, service horror stories, and figuring out where we're meeting next. You get the invite link once you confirm your email.
The weekly email
A Sunday recap of the week's conversation and any upcoming meetups, for people who'd rather not have a busy group chat on their phone. It's the only email we send.
Meetups
Casual, roughly monthly, somewhere in the Indy metro. Bring whatever you're wearing. There's no dress code and no minimum collection size.
